2. General information on data processing

We process personal data exclusively within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, in particular the GDPR.

Use of the app is generally possible even without consent to further data usage.

3. Data processing for providing the app

The following data is processed to use the app:

  • Registration data, for example email address
  • Usage data required for app functionality, for example reminders and uses

This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract).

4. Local storage of sensitive data

Data relating to medications and their use is stored exclusively locally on the user’s device.

This data:

  • is not transferred to our servers
  • is not part of backups
  • is not processed by us

5. Optional backup (synchronization)

If the user activates the backup function, app data is stored on our servers to enable restoration.

Only the data required for backup is transmitted.

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

6. Optional data use to improve the app

If the user expressly consents, we process usage data and product ratings for analysis purposes.

This includes:

  • statistical evaluation of usage
  • improvement of functions and products

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent).

7. Inclusion of previously collected data

If the user consents, previously collected data may also be included in the evaluation in anonymized form.

8. Anonymization

For analysis, data is processed in anonymized form wherever possible.

It is not intended to identify individual users.

9. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes.

The user may request deletion of their data at any time.

Users have the right to:

11. Withdrawal of consent

Any consent granted can be withdrawn at any time in the app settings.

12. Data security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data against loss, manipulation, and unauthorized access.

13. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy in order to adapt it to changed legal requirements or new app functions.
